Highway One Tele w/Bill Lawrence Keystones

Just messin around with my Highway One Tele. Using a Line 6 DL4 for looping and playing through a Twin Reverb RI with no effects, volume on about 3. This is my first video after having a set of Bill Lawrence Keystones installed. Despite my playing, these pickups sound great.

@dharmaboy34 I'm about to install a pair of Bill's NF single coils (202TN and a 290-TL). They're stacked, and therefore noise-cancelling. Very similar sound to the ones in this video, but less likely to be noisy with higher gain levels. :)

Keystones are probably the best value going in the guitar pickups market. They're absolutely brilliant. I'm contemplating trying his twin blades on my next Tele purchase. People tend to bash blades, but I think Bill's resume dictates that I try these out personally.

I've been looking at vids for a while trying to find the pickup sound I want for my MIM Tele. The stock pickups just aren't cutting it for me. I looked at Fralins and Don Mares, and almost spent the dough to order them. But luckly I stumbled upon this vid and immediately went to Bill's website and ordered a set of these. Exactly the sound I want, especially in the neck PU, and half the price. Bless you my friend, you saved me a bundle with this post.

Really great sound...you play beautifully. I have a new Mexican Standard Tele. How much of an upgrade do you think these are? What are they like with heavier rock music.

@dharmaboy34 These pickups are definitely an upgrade for my style of play. But I tend to use this clean tone most of the time, don't ever really use much gain/distortion...so I'm probably not the best person to ask. Thanks for watching and commenting.

What Tele model is that you are playing?

it's a 2007 Highway One Model. No modifications besides the pickups. Nothing special, but it's just a real nice and basic telecaster.
