Sounds like you could use some new tubes. Prolly one on the 12ax7 preamps r bad. (the little ones) they r easy to change they only go in one way. But wear gloves so u don't get finger oils on the tubes

Buying amps off of ebay without testing before purchase is like eating out of a dumpster.

Wow, a buddy just dropped off the exact same amp for me to look at because it was making some humming noises. Turns out it's doing the exact same thing. I mean identical.
Did you ever solve this? If so, what was it?

Could be cold solder joints. If you tap it firmly does it go away, or change? I had one doing something similar, and thats what it was. Be careful though, as there are voltages inside which can kill you. If you don't know anything about it, take it to a tech.

You gotta to Walleywho it. If that doesn't work check the secondary sprocket pod in the COB. (epic has to be secondary). If that doesn't work you will have to call and get a PA. (which could take anywhere from a couple hours to a week).
looks like the problem is that you have a motorbike inside your amp

sound like a motorcycle gang inside your amp.. take it to a tech.. messing with a tube is like messing with a crt monitor which can make you fly 6 feet away
