@triggerma2 Also I mean it is hard in Ethiopia to make 1 million dollars from scratch. Anyone can go with $200,000 and become a millionaire. Also anyone who builds houses with hideous exteriors has some issues if they wanna show how better they are than starving peasants. Most Ethiopians in the countryside think Addis is full of elitists. People in Addis think they are above people in the countryside. Addis Ababa should just become an economic free zone like Hong Kong if that is the case.

@triggerma2 You are wrong. The people in Addis Ababa are the "elite" of Ethiopia! No one in Addis Ababa dies of starvation. They are the top 5% earning percentile People in the country side have NO MONEY OR FOOD. I am not sure of the exact statistics but I am sure hundreds of thousands die every year of starvation and on bad years MILLIONS! I also didn't mean bring your million dollars from Canada I meant MAKE A MILLION DOLLARS IN ETHIOPIA! It is as hard as making 100 million in Canada!

@hollymattersonIve actually lived there for 12 years. Its not hard to be a millionaire there given the innovation idead unless restricted by the government. Im just merely making an observation about the majority of the below par people there. Ive given plenty of money to them.And i see em drunk and eating chat. There no need to take it personally, im sure there are people who work their ass off and dont get what they deserve but thats not the majority of them.

@triggerma2 One more thing, the poor of Ethiopia have worked more THAN YOU EVER HAVE IN YOU ENTIRE LIFE. I bet you never left the Addis before. Actually, I bet you haven't even ever left Bole. When you go to the countryside, you will see the people who work for over 12 hours a day trying to get their tiny plot of infertile land to produce just enough food to feed their family, if they're lucky. I see you live in Canada, anyone can become a millionaire there. Try doing it in ETHIOPIA.

@triggerma2 The poor dont have enough money to buy food let alone booze or chat. You are talking about the middle upper-class of the country. The top 10% can only afford to do that. Your country is so poor that those people you speak of are in the top earning percentile. You divert the aid money MY country sends you to finance things like this. And this is probably the only nice building in the entire country. All the houses you build look like shit. Tastless exterior and cheap hardwood floors.

Nice hotel,but the most is ethiopian people they're so humbel and modest.I wish I can visit it.
