Menards store Managers Luke Roberts, Chris Matz, Department Manager Drew Robbins and Team Member Elizabeth Pritchett's husband Kyle attempt their first ever hog wrestling at the Gibson County Fair in southern Indiana. They came out of the gates lightning fast, charging the hog only to be deceived by the hog's own amazing agility. Luke was first to pull the hog into the pit of mud, pig secretions and other contestants' shoes only to be completely submersed himself and trampled over by his own team mates. Kyle was second to get a good grab, but was drug through the pit by the brute strength of the hog causing a premature release. Chris made some strategic lunges as well. Drew finally got a lasting grip on the hog's back end but didn't have the strength to pull it to the pedestal. The other team mates grabbed a hold and together they slowly made way to the barrel. Alas, the 45 second time limit gave the hog victory this year. No one was injured, except maybe their pride but fun was had by all. Good job Team Menards!
