North Carolina based black/death metal masters Dark Autumn officially formed in 2001, arising from the ashes of other projects. Abigor formed the project to create extreme metal forged with classical and acoustic influences, with a grim atmosphere, hellspawned energy, and lyrics to match.
The band developed and grew in shadows for two years, then unleashed their fury live, performing in front of audiences of up to 700 people.
After gaining attention from several well known regional acts with their powerful stage presence and scene breaking sound, they were offered a deal to record their first demo in 2004, which led to the recording and release of their first full length "Infernal Invocation" in 2005.
They continued to spread their breed of metal across three states, then released their follow up EP, "Pagan Kvlt Terrorism" through Imperial Blasphemy Records in the summer of 2006.
Dark Autumn continued to grow and enlarge their fanbase with the release of two singles, "The Order of the Black Sun" and the predominantly black metal piece "Hurled from the Heavens."
With a new full length currently in the works, and attention from some of the scene's finest, Dark Autumn plans on conquering more territory and taking the world by storm.

It's so rare to hear a good drummer. Most drummers are kind of just there, or more like a thorn in the music. I don't much like death metal vocals but the musicianship is great.

that snare burns... used WAY too much, the rest of the music is sweet and parts of it reminds me of Gojira... a little bit.
