I wish I had an uncle like Greg! I've seen him live just once, with Bill Frisell's Disfarmer project in Italy, March 2011. Greg was worth the whole ticket, if Bill, Carrie and Viktor had stopped at the restaurant and Greg had been the only one of the band to make it to the venue, he would have rocked the house just the same. And it's not just what he plays or how he plays it, it's his face, his mood, his demeanour... Worth every bit of it, he can grace anything he plays on, Stravinsky included!
