  • Well, folks . . . did somebody think that eerie, quavering sound was coming from a Moog synthesizer, or an organ? No, no--you're showing your (young) age . . . what we hear is from a device called a "Theremin"--the FIRST electronic musical instrument , invented in the 1930's by the Russian genius/spy/ladies' man, Leon Theremin. He also helped create a form of television that pre-dated the American, Farnsworth. Brush-up on your technical history . . .
