Despite the fact that one of the most notoriously racist towns in American Civil Rights history has elected a Black mayor, Anderson Cooper's interview illestrates that some folks still long for the "good ole days" when newspapers and TV were in black and white and so was everything else. The fact that there are men willing to go on national TV and defend the Ku Klux Klan in the 21st century should dispel the myth that racism is dead in America.
