Doesn't work for me. Just saw Cheap Trick at a corp event in Vegas. These guys look older than the real band.. drumming is pretty good I must admit

where is budokan 78 now

@impellernut - Well spoken. I'd love to hear about your all-original band that has never copied anything from anyone. In the meantime, that is why it is called a TRIBUTE band. They are appreciating the original "shit" (as you put it) but paying tribute to it. And I'm sure it pays quite well. Rick Nielsen got on stage with them and enjoyed himself, so why not an audience?

@LanceATL why copy shit and just make our own shit and just appreciate the original shit

WOW!!I've seen alot of tribute bands, good and bad, very bad,but this is simply perfect. They really nailed Cheap Trick down to a T.There was a Kiss tribute band the 90's called Cold Gin who were awesome. They even played at one of Paul Stanley's B-Day parties.

@spdolphs No, no, no. That is Glenn Tilbrook from Squeeze!
The paper cranes on Tom's bass--that's just morbid. It was when he did it, too.
Damn good copy band, though.

wow....can a cheap trick tribute band actually make a living doing just that...not trying to be sarcastic - just cheap trick themselves can only play small gigs here in philly - how can a tribute band survive?

I think everybody forgets how important body language is and these guys really have the bands stage moves down well.
