In this tutorial I show you how to make a reflection/glassy effect in Gimp. This can make your basic logos look professional.

The song featured is El Manana by Gorillaz (I don't own this song they do!)

1.) Create a new canvas

2.) Use the Ellipse Select Tool and create a circle.

3.) Select the Blend Tool using the settings FG to BG (RGB) and create the gradient effect as shown in the video (use your own colours)

4.) Create a new layer

5.) Use the Ellipse Select Tool and create a oval like shape
and place on your circle as shown in the circle

6.) Choose white as your default colour

7.) Select the Blend Tool again with the setting FG to Transparent

8.) And gradient the oval shape as shown in the video

9.) Then go to Select and then None

10.) Marvel at your masterpiece!
