Rare and beautiful composition on Goddess Lakshmi by Annmacharya, set to music by Smt.Vakkalanka Sarala (mother of danseuse extraordinaire, Swapna Sundari) sung by the children of the Veenavadini School of Music, Perla. The swaraksharams in this song are just too brilliant for words and I have always been a Huge fan of swaraksharams.

  • Very nice rendition.Could you please write the name of the raagam? Thanks

  • i was there for this glorious workshop. It was a pleasure and Prince Rama varma made learning music an adventure. The kids are so sweet and innocent, untouched by the outside corrupted world. The principal Yogeesh Sharma made me feel an honoured and privileged guest .The kids and the adults were wonderful. You can say it was a semi Gurukula experience.Rama Varma 's teaching style is so unique that it is difficult to reproduce.
