Never heard of this girl group until this morning, I happened to be checking out the Three D's and noticed this sailor song in the suggestion box. They definetly weren't played herein Vancouver Cda. The Murmaids, the Crystals, Chiffons, The Secrets, The Ronettes, The Raindrops, Martha and the Vandallas were all girl groups too but just happened to be heard here back in the doowop era Too bad there isn't one station that just sticks to all the early r and rprior to the British Invasion(1964)

@davidwillis47 Never heard of this girl group until now, happened to see 'em posted while I was listening to the Three D's. They weren't played here locally or I would remember. The Crystals, Chiffons, Murmaids, The Secrets, The Raindrops, The Ronettes, Martha and the Vandallas were all played here locally but for some reason The Goldie & the Gingerbreads weren't. Don't fret all the good ol' Rockabilly stuff wasn't either...it was all mainstream buddy! Thx4 postin'/sharin' a great song!

They are great!! : ) But, I'm confused, there's a horrible Australian mid60s girl group with the same name, their song is called, "I would if I could'.
