Rare Old Grey Whistle Test Strawbs footage.
Hi everyone, thanks for your comments, glad you're enjoying this unique Strawbs footage.
Go to www.myspace.com/keepthe70saliveeverytuesdayatthebar, under my 'videos' section for an even clearer picture. Enjoy!! Cheers. Tina. xx Many thanks to Rob for making this video uploadable!
P.S. Apparently this great Strawbs appearance so nearly didn't happen, as Dave Lambert told me, the band had a car accident the night before, driving back from a gig in Norwich.

  • Most underated band in the history of music

  • great song of an great band

  • @margarita6022 Sorry for you sad loss....a great band to remember a loved one by....I was 11 or 12 when I discovered them and got sucked into their mystical magical wonder which changed me forever. I find no other music even remotely equal to theirs, and you can see by my name how much I identify with them. They are one of a kind, and David Cousin's voice will go down in history!

  • Yes, this is the oldie but goodie Strawbs album which I listened to EVERY NIGHT IN my darkest night during the 70's. Oh darling go to sleep...hope you guys come on here once inawhile so I can give you my thanks for the comfort of a lonely lady in the middle of the 70's whose life was saved by the likes of you!

  • Yes meets the Moodys...

  • @chrisguygeezer on my "bucket list" ;-)

  • @BillyJoeVegas What a great shame. I suggest you un-stow them, get yourself a proper deck and enjoy what you've been missing. If they are transfered to mp3 format, they will carry 11 times less musical information than cd, and cd carries 5 times less information than vinyl. What are you waiting for?

  • strawbs! the one band that got me through the 70's and the death of my beloved boyfriend. I used to play this album night after night looking for an answer. So glad to find them on youtube after all these years. Thanks guys...

  • OMG I never thought I would hear this agian . Thank you so much . I remember getting my new Garrard SP 25 Mk 4 , Teac Amp and Kev speakers and filling the room with this in 1973. What memories

  • @BillyJoeVegas Do yourself a favour and get a good turntable. You'd be amazed and surprised...
