UNMASK was a collaboration with classmate Edward Chiu. It explores the familiarity and messages from advertising noise surrounding us. Subconciously, we remember certain brands and products from advertisements and this had an adverse effect on our choices and consumption patterns. The installation worked towards providing visitors to the gallery an aural and visual subliminal experience of how advertising has worked its way into our subconscious.
This video was an installation at SALE: EVERYTHING MUST GO, an exhibition put together by Year 2 Design For Advertising class from London College of Communication. I was part of the exhibitions Curation Team who decided on the theme ad big idea of the exhibition. In addition, I co-wrote the exhibitions Manifesto, design and produced the exhibition website as well as produce an exhibition piece - UNMASK.
