A Medicine of Sickness

Totally disilusioned with mainstream medicine, turning to alternative medicine as a last resort because no matter how many doctors I see, they never do anything to help me. 3 months clean. Taking amino acids, evening primrose as anti-inflammatory, doing parasite cleanse with clove, wormwood and black walnut so I can do gallbladder/liver flush after in case the pancreas problem has something to do with gallstones, which is the second most common cause after alcoholism.

You're lucky you live in Canada and have access to free health care. Those of us in the United States are not so lucky where we go without medical attention because we can't afford it. America has the worst health care in the world.

While I agree that organized religion is nonsense there's nothing wrong with spirituality. I know very few people who have managed to stay clean without the realization that they and their problems are not all that there is.

@simonbnyc The U.S. certainly doesn't have the worst in the world. We have the most expensive healthcare in the world, and statistically it ranks below average on many important factors (infant mortality rate ranks in there with 3rd World Countries). Many people who have health insurance still go bankrupt from medical expenses and like you said, all the uninsured people who don't get treated at all.

It's probably safe to say we have the worst healthcare in the industrialized world.
