@villanex i might not understand what you are saying, but i hope your not talking about his LED's dimming because of the amp draw?

thats because his amp is drawing so much powa that the current draw is higher than the output of the battery/altenator so his lights dim.

now what if you just want to do this with bass only. like have the LED be constantly on, but when the bass hits, it dims down or gets brighter and then goes back to normal? my cousin has an LED underbody kit he got from TRD when he got his tc and it covers the whole underneath of his car, no black spots or anything. and theyre on constantly but when his bass hits, they dim out and go back to normal when theres no bass. its really cool and he says he just says he doesnt have a capacitor so idk??

coooool! The lED has the vibration sensor, right?
Well, to me it sounds like it just dims out as a result of the power being diverted all towards the sub. It's possible to wire it that way but I'm not exactly sure how... I'm more of a novice at electronics than it seems.

It's a sound sensor that I took off a cold cathode kit and wired direct to the LEDs
