I hear what Yetti0 says, My parents openly preferred my brother over me, which pained me to no end. Due to being an Aspie, I concentrated on my hobbies and studies and survived. I am fully functional adult now (with pretty limited social life, but that's another story)

aspergers is not a disability.. I love being an aspie. Aspergers saved my life.

I focused on my mind and my world growing up in a somewhat abusive homelife. Aspies are often abused... My aspergers allowed me to focus intensely on my interests...and not the abuse

Brain is normal and its not a disorder.. How sad he feels so badly about himself.
