@Iocrinik chainmail was made to protect from slashed not stabs and it might protect you but only to a certain point

Does the chainmail sold on thinkgeek actually protect from someone like..stabbing with a combat knife, is there a demo video of someone stabbing a pillow with it or something..or any chainmail, for no reason i need to know about some chain mail that'd do that..and where to get it
