An unprecidented international Walk-a-thon event in support of Padma Bhushan Dr. Chiranjeevi was organised by the PRAVASA VAARADHIs.This event included a screening of a short film "Chiranjeevi: For Change!" which featured the first ever campaign song for Chiranjeevi. The movie was an indigenous NRI production. The gathering was inspired and energized by the "Chiru Song 2008" which was composed, written and sung by prominent NRI Music Director SaiBorg, the son of the famous folk singer JanapadaBrahma Shri. Manapragada Narasimha Murthy. The Up-and-Coming Actor and Director Mr. Seshu Adivi directed this short film.

Silicon Valley of California, USA resounded to the thumping footsteps of the PRAVAASA VAARADHI volunteers participating in the 5 Km Walk-a-thon organized by Pravasa Chiranjeevi Organization on May 17th, 2008. This event, which was officially kicked-off by Megabrother Nagendra Babu through a live video conference, marked the first ever international SPARC meeting organized in the United States.

  • chiranjeevi - I feel he is better than kind of leaders we see today. Ppl with few crores spend all that to win and once they get into power they do all corrupted things to earn atleast few thousands of crores. A nobody will turn into a big somebody with thousands of crores. Brutes like this get into politics madly hungry 4 money, they r neither educated nor have any moral ethics. chiru is rich enough, not madly hungry for money and has'nt done any crime, has moral ethics atleast like common men

  • u kind of make sense, but if u look at politicians now they r all factionists, liqour contracters, ex-naxalites,rowdy who has atleast done 10-20murders. no one is educated. well its gandhiji's belief that even uneducated ppl should be part of politics, bcoz in politics we need practicality and logic than education, but unfortunately today we see ONLY uneducated in it has become a norm, if anyone is highly educated he is considered unfit for politics, it should definetly change.

  • Inka KAPULA debba emito chudandi...

    KAPU rajyam ZNB

  • I admire Chiranjeevi for his performance in his movies and for his promptness and dedication in his work. He is also a great social worker. But, to be a "leader" a person has to demonstrate his/her leadership abilities and qualities which I think Chiru has yet "TO DO".

  • Simply Superb.

  • well said dude. hope one day all these innocent ppl realize the situation. and start thinking abt some good ppl who r really concerned abt us ... Like JayaPrakash of LokSatta.

  • guys i juss wonder y u guys r projecting this chiranjeevi as a demigod,we all knw he is not greatly eduacted to understand the present global economy, he never responded to any crisis in the state( which shows he never really bothered about the puils problems), we all knw hw greatly he responded to his daughter marriage, i juss feel that he is donning this costume to make sme big money, we now greatly need a well educated person to lead us, no more actors please
