The purpose of this video demonstrates the reliability of the 5.56NMm0 chamber. This was a destructive test. A rate of fire as demonstrated may damage or destroy a barrel.

  • I think it's the drum allowing the bolt to go home after that last round is ejected...

  • his bolt didn't lock to the rear, no last shot hold open on drum mags? or is that a noveske quirk?

    Note that 9 cents per second figure was 2 years ago...

    Man ammo has gotten ridiculously expensive.

  • @john33STEW From my estimation, the noveske was operating at about 900 rpm, which is 15rnd/s. Even cheaper brass .223s cost around 6 dollars for 20rnds, or 30 cents per round. Closer to $4.50 spent ammunition per second.
