Hello, Christi Schreiber here to teach you how to airbrush your makeup; Sort of. We're going to give a very brief demonstration. The how to's are a little bit more than we have time to go over in this video. But Arendijus already has his concealer on, he has the blue corrector followed with the high definition stic concealer, next we are ready to put the liquid powder on him. It's right down here, let me grab that. So, this is the liquid powder shine eliminator. This is always step one whenever you are airbrushing your skin. So you just squeeze a pea size drop on this part of your hand, you pick it up with the cover it brush and you just paint it on the skin. Now, it's sole purpose is to knock out shine. So we are just painting this on. Arendijus you are going to do your other side. We are just painting it on, see how it makes it matte. Here you go, we will squeeze a little bit of this on your hand. Perfect. And just rub that in. Again with high definition television shin is one of the biggest issues. And the shine eliminator is a huge part in helping to work keeping everything as matte as possible for high definition television. So you put this on first, almost as a primer, then we are going to come in with the airbrush makeup. Great, and again this just goes in high shine areas. Typically it's right around the hair line and down the center of the face. Now we are ready for airbrush. Starting up the compressor, that is the compressor that you hear going. Starting with our foundation, make sure to give your foundation a really good shake. Squirting some in your cup and airbrushing your face. Now we do offer and have available, let me put this down for a second, a cap for those of you that are concerned about your nice, expensive shirt and neckwear we have this cap available in our airbrush section. So we are going to put a cape on him and keep him protected, because I know that this is a brand new shirt for him and he doesn't want to get any makeup on it. So just airbrushing the face, notice what smooth round circular motions that I am making airbrushing your face. Guys you always want to make sure you get your ear as well. All the way up in your hairline. Just getting a nice beautiful finish. And when you come around the lips you want to tuck the lips in. Perfect. If you need a little bit more coverage in your beard area then you just add a little bit more coverage and add one more layer in the beard area. Arendijus, I am going to let you do your side. Pull the trigger back a little further, a little more. Great and real smooth motions. You are doing a good job. Really smooth motions, slow it down. There it is. Airbrush makeup, it's the ultimate for high definition television. Your ears right? Yes, that is correct, your ears. Ok, great job. Wonderful, so now that we are airbrushed, he is airbrushed and ready to go, there is one step left. It is the oil control, the white colourless powder. Flip that open, see that it comes with a sponge, forgot about it. Throw the sponge out, use the cotton tail brush only. So you press the cotton tail brush into the powder and you press and roll. The application with this powder is different than with other powders. You really want it to get in there and adhere to the makeup and the shine. So we are stoping and we are pressing and rolling. And you also do this on top of your eyelid as well. So you stop and reload the brush, press and roll into the skin. Pressing and rolling this just into the skin for a perfect matte look. You want to be careful whenever you are loading the brush that you don't load too much. So if you get too heavy powder on there my favorite saying is that you look like you have been making biscuits. So you want to avoid that look. If you do add too much powder you can just kind of buff it off. But doing a nice press and roll. Good. And stop and reload. great. You want to make sure to get all around the nostril area and around the hairline. These are areas particularly for men that have quite a bit of high shine. So the biggest difference that you are going to see in high definition is how often you are going to have to touch up. It is crucial that you check yourself during commercial breaks. If you do segments later in the news then right before your commercial break right before you go on the air make certain that you touch up. Thats the biggest growing pain for those in high definition television. Along with learning about all the new detail.
