My dad played this on his accordion when I was a child. It was a favorite of mine because we all would join in singing the words: "Just because you think you're so pretty. Just because you think you're so hot! Just because you think you got something, that nobody else has got. You cause me to spend all my money. You laugh and call me Old Santa Claus. I'm telling you Baby, I'm through with you! Just Because...Just Because.

Great playing, one of my favorite polka songs! In my area we used to listen to "Jolly Joe Timmer". This song was played more often than any other. Your playing is great, keep up the good work!

@19gizzy84 Hello, I thank you for your visit and kind comments. I am sorry about your loss. My mom loved accordion music. My dad played for us for many years when I was growing up and after he died, I began to play accordion again. This song must have been popular many years ago because as children, my cousins and I heard our dad and their mom play this simultaneously on piano and accordion and that is when we learned the words and music.
