[MD] Thank You My Girl (Part 1) - Seungyeon & Onew

Onew recalls the greatest love of his life, who influenced him greatly for the better.

Onew and Seungyeon were dating despite her being an aspiring classical musician and him a new medical intern at the hospital. They have incredibly busy schedules and are both ambitious in their careers, but try to hold onto their relationship.

It becomes harder for them to find time with Onew's supervisor impatient at the constant interruptions from his phone during meetings with clients. Seungyeon is heartbroken when Onew is unable to make it to one of her concert events due to work, having been let down many times before.

Onew cannot find her the next morning after the concert, and searches for her outside. He finds her crying by the lake, and he sees the strain his absence had put on her. The two drift apart for a while, both wondering if they should break up but lacking the courage for the direct confrontation. For days, they hang up on calls and just stare at messages that are never sent.

Finally, Onew ponders to himself deeply if it would be best for Seungyeon to not get hurt if he ends it. He types up the message but then hesitates.

Seungyeon soon receives a text. Is it from Onew?

I've been dying to use this song, which is why I had to settle for a Part 1 since it's so short, but I love the song and lyrics so much and I've finally been able to upload it without Avex blocking it worldwide. XD It's confusing, not long enough, and the lyrics are meaningless to the story, but I didn't want to insert another song to keep it going so I just finished it up.

I've never done a Part anything before, so don't rush me. XD I like how I wrapped this up because I honestly had no idea it would be this short, really happy that it's still ambigious (you can't tell if they broke up or not in the present. XP)

OHMYGOD! A NEW STYLE!! Its a good thing you disappeared for quite a long time I guess. I like this new style! It felt as if it's Onew who's telling us their story! I can't wait for part two now!!
