Part 1 of 4

In what will be posted as a 4 part series, Part 1 features Conrail Shared Assets train WPCA-11 heading southbound, on the Vineland Secondary, first through Gloucester City, then Woodbury NJ with a rare consist of power. At the helm, its an Ex Erie Lackawana and Ex-Conrail SD45-2 #1701. Pulling up the number two spot is a rarely seen still Conrail Quality blue SD40-2 CSXT #8817. Since I am a big Leslie RS3L buff, I let the camera roll for a few minutes before the train comes through Woodbury. For those who care, sit back and enjoy the sweet music of a Leslie RS3L.

Coming Soon....Part 2 which features more shots of NS #SD45-2 #1701 leading.

As always, thanks for watching! Please take a quick second to leave a comment and rate! Thanks!

  • I am also a big Leslie fan, thanks for the extra horn recording time.

  • @JohnnySTEAMstain this video looks like it was taken during the crack of dawn, so I don't think he wants to wake up the residents in the area.

  • That E needs to take a look at his NORAC rulebook again. The proper grade crossing warning is two longs a short and a long with the last blast being prolonged/repeated until the locomotive occupies the crossing. Where is the NS road foreman when you need him?!

  • Man you have some great night video!

  • i've seen CSXT #8817 twice in one year! twice man! the first time it was behind a CSX YN2 SD40-2 pulling a Herzog ballast train with a lot of dump cars. the second time i was at the gym, it was dark, and all i saw was the "conrail quality" logo and a long porch. they better not repaint it before i can see it with a camera on hand

  • KICKASS VID MAN!!!! 5 stars!!!

  • Dude Thats quality!

  • This is an outstanding video bro!

  • simply fantastic

  • Awesome horn! Its just shame the engineer doesn't comply with federal regulations at all the crossings with 2 longs a short and a long.
