  • The speech on this video, was actually given in 1955.

from Amazon: "In perhaps the most potent of his speeches released on CD (this one recorded in 1995 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology)"

The conditions he highlights have not changed. There is no indication they ever will. Not until we find the string that attach us to corporate run government.

  • This 1995 lecture points out the fact that the more things change the more they stay the same. His mention of "Gingrich Contract" and the Caterpillar strike establishes the date..roughly.

  • If there's one word that could UNdo capitalism, it's "PROFIT." This is the atomic center of business---a "value" taken out from an exchange that you did not, by definition, put into it. So your unequal share becomes an "advantage" (the root word of profit), and you use that to dis-advantage everybody else. By definition this is inevitable, and it is where THE change must/will happen. We cannot survive as a 99.9% Dis-Advantaged planet.

  • Chomsky's so wonderful. He gives me nice dreams.

  • According to amazon this talk was given in 1995 at MIT.

  • i really wish people would post where and when these talks take place.

i am tired of listening to these speeches that were given 10 years ago and just posted recently.

  • Thank you!
