@alifia23 According the last article I read by CNN concerning a baby's DNA being stored in a database, it is to notify parents of genetic predispositions for a certain disease, disorder etc. There are many potential problems such as privacy, DNA rights, and of course using your DNA to frame you among many other possibilities.
