I don't think you can blame Hilary for her vote in that bill, all elected officials in this country represent the people who elected them. They don't just make descisions because they feel its best, but rather make the choice they believe the voters would support. At that time a overwhelming amount of people believed we should go to war, look at Bush's approval ratings in those early stages. Majority of America was for war, so we went to war. Not because they voted for it.

The fact that he was against the war when it was unpopular to do so(2002) shows that he will do what he believes is right for America regardless of what the majority of people here thinks. alieco...so Iraq and Al Qaeda were related how in 2002, or for that matter on 9/11? He was the only one wise enough to set his emotions aside and make the prudent decision about the war in Iraq because he knew it would turn into a quagmire. Thankfully most American's understand that and elected Obama!
