Top 20 Anime: 10 through 6

Just a reminder, this is not a top 20 that is based on significance, critical acclaim, or what people consider to be an objective masterpiece. It's a very subjective list that is based primary around what has resonated well with me and that's mostly it.

I'm probably one of the few people that didn't enjoy Death Note. Akira is still one of the best anime movies after all this time (along with Tokyo Godfathers, Steamboy, and most Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli films) and Monster is Probably my favorite anime at this particular moment.

I wonder if Galaxy Express 999 had the same artist that did Gun Frontier, they look very similar in some ways.

Yay, Monster made the list (one of my personal top 10 favorite anime as well), aside from a select few like Eva & Lunge, I can't really say I hate any of the characters, I've liked them all equally so far.

I'll also have to watch Green Legend Ran, it's seems vaguely similar to Now & Then, Here & There.

Wow Monster! Wasn't expecting to see this. This is one of if not the best anime ever made. The characters weave together perfectly and the villain is the greatest of all!

I am not too keen on subs but the Akira subs explains the story better than the dubbed version and the emotions in the characters are better than the dubbed version. I still want to buy Akira on laserdisc

Ahh, yes. Akira.

I decided to watch that a while ago on a whim after seeing a positive review about it and was both horrified and amazed by it. Truly a powerful film.

AND DEATH NOTE! YESSS.

DN is... just so good. Commonly known, but rightfully so. L. <3 My love.
