thank you for opening a gate way for all black musicians mama africa lives forever

I just learned recently of her passing. Now I am sad again. Mama Africa also inspired me. Though I have never visited any part of Africa including South Azania. I still feel a connection to my Mother Land. Mama Africa made it special. I remember watching "SARAFINA" and one of the young actresses probably the one that played Sarafina burst into tears when Miriam Makeba came back to see her. That put a lump in my throat.

I went with my mother to the Miriam Makeba Tribute, made by the African Mamas in the Netherlands, It was very nice to see. Everybody was dancing, singing and having a lot african fun.

Miriam Makeba uma linda e incansável voz contra o apartheid e pelas tradições de seu povo. PARA SEMPRE MAMA AFRICA!
