The nose can hit the ball, so that does not matter. The question is if he lost control or not, which he didn't. This is why the backlash has been so severe from other officials unbiased fans.

@ConsumingFire39 Brady Hoke never said it was a TD. He said he thought it was a TD because that's what the refs ruled. quit trying to twist words around. I thought it was a TD too because i didn't get a good look at it and the refs called it a TD, so naturally i thought it was a TD. I saw the replay. it wasn't. THe nose of the ball hit the ground first and the ground caused movement for the ball (which doesn't count as having possession)...2 reasons why it wasn't a catch.
