Here's a sample of some music from a private festival in West Texas, held every fall for the 500 most intimate friends of the host. The setting is gorgeous, close to Guadelupe Peak National Park, and the musicians play just about 24 hours a day. A prominent Nashville psychiatrist videotaped us, messing around with "Orange Blossom Special" for a visiting TV crew from El Paso that was covering the event for the local news. September, 1991: Byron Berline, fiddle; John Hickman, banjo; Steve Spurgin, bass; John Moore, guitar; Peter Feldmann, mandolin. Watch Byron's great "stadium moves" near the end of the tune, and join us at BlueGrassWest.com for more music.
No way did they speed up the camera, I have been to many live country & bluegrass shows and they can and do play that fast.
Great performers.

They must have sped up the camera. It is hard to believe anybody plays that fast. Amazing breaks. And Byron used the "Barry Bones Patton" stage jump.
