La presente mostra riguarda alcune delle opere di Stefano Pacini, aventi un denominatore comune: l'utilizzo di trashware (in questo specifico caso useremo il termine anglosassone impropriamente, per indicare quell' hardware che altrimenti verrebbe a costituire rifiuto, spazzatura elettronica).
L'utilizzo dei pezzi hardware ha diverse funzioni. Una estetica, come nel caso del quadro "TecknoMondrian", in cui le linee geometriche parallele e perpendicolari si armonizzano alle linee dipinte.
Poi abbiamo una funzione "simbolica": sempre nel "TecknoMondrian", notiamo che una porzione della tela viene coperta da materiale tecnologico. Forse, inconsciamente, lartista voleva esprimere la sua sensazione di una "invadenza" eccessiva della tecnologia nella vita quotidiana, di conseguenza il rischio di una (impropria?) commistione tra arte e tecnologia, laddove si demandi a quest'ultima di arricchire l'opera d'arte.
Secondo Stefano, la tecnologia puo' ben esser usata nell'arte, laddove finisca il suo ciclo di vita (diventando rifiuto elettronico)- Questo sia per ironizzare sull'atteggiamento di cieca fede o peggio, di idolatria, verso la tecnologia e verso il progresso tecnologico in senso lato; sia per una finalità etica di recupero di r.a.e.e. (rifiuti elettronici)
Stefano è sempre stato un grande fan della tecnologia, ma ora piu' che mai la sua attenzione è rivolta a quelli che sono i problemi del corretto ed efficiente uso che della stessa viene fatto. E' assurdo che vi sia tanto spreco di tecnologia. Penso che ci vorrebbe una svolta nell'educazione dei giovani su queste tematiche..la rivoluzione culturale è comunque già cominciata, se ne percepiscono i segni- afferma.
La contrapposizione tra arte e tecnologia, ad ogni modo è netta: la prima è da associare alla sfera del gioco, della libertà creativa, spesso fine a se stessa. La tecnologia invece è funzionale, serve al raggiungimento di uno scopo...il punto di incontro perfetto sta nel "Next Level Pc"...?

The present expo concerns some of the works of Stefano Pacini, having a common denominator: the use of trashware (in this specific case we will use the Anglo-Saxon term not properly, to point out that hardware that otherwise it would be trash, electronic garbage). The use of the hardware has different functions. An aesthetic one, as in the case of the picture " TecknoMondrian", in which the parallel and perpendicular geometric lines they harmonize to the colour lines . Then we have a " symbolic" function: again in the" TecknoMondrian", we notice that a portion of the cloth comes covered gradually by technological material...Did the artist perhaps want to express his unconscious feeling ," intrusiveness" excessive of the technology in the daily life, accordingly the risk of one (improper?) mix between art and technology, whereas is submitted to this last (technology) to enrich the work of art.
According to Stefano Pacini, technology is really good to be used in the art, whereas ends its cycle of life (becoming electronic refusal) - This both for " make ironical thoughts" on the attitude of blind faith or worse, of idolatry, toward the technology; both for an ethical finality of recovery of r.a.e.e. (electronic refusals) .
Stefano has always been a great fan of the technology, but now more than ever his attention is turned to those that are the problems of the correct and efficient use that of the same one is done. "And' absurd that there is so much waste of technology. I think that we need a u turn in the education of the youth on these thematics.. the cultural revolution is however already started, we perceive the signs" - he affirms. The opposition between art and technology, to every way it s clean: the first one is to associate to the sphere of the game, of the creative liberty, often end to herself. Instead technology is functional, it serves to the attainment of a purpose... is the point of perfect mix in the" Next Level Pc"...?
