After a tragic accident on December 24, 2007, which claimed the lives of Brock's father and brother's girl friend, Brock was told he would never walk again. With the promises of God in his hand, Brock did not listen to the bad report, but held on to Philippians 4:13 which states "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." In testimony of that promise, Brock walked on the Oasis stage with the aid of a walker to share how God has miraculously brought him this far.

Hey roper, why don't save it for yourself? I wish you could meet this family.
I'm not sure where he said God made him walk. He DID say with God's help he has been able to walk again. He also didn't say God paralyzed him just as he did not say God killed his dad, or the girl with them. He doesn't blame God. But he does accept God's grace. That's something I hope you might be able to do in the future.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
If god made him walk, then god killed the two others with him, and crippled him in the first place.
Why are you praying to that?

Awesome. Just simply amazing. I would offer Brock the strength to get through this test he is going through but he clearly doesn't need it. People could gain strength through Brock himself. I wish the best for the lad and his friends/family. Just great to see.

Elliot, we met at halftime of the UM-Utah game. (I was the guy who got out of the pizza line to talk to you as you were wheeling by in the Section 5 concourse.) I prayed that very night that you would walk again.
I really don't have a lot of faith, but I'm glad you do, and I'm glad the faith that I had may have made a difference for you. Keep moving forward, and keep your faith. It inspires me.
