What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul. Judy paid a terrible price for fame.

I never thought I would hear Kenny Baker sing a song like this.
Really cool

Incidenty, this was released in 1959 according to the Rockin Country archive.

Better than a lot of 'early rock' that hit the top-forty before sixty....for sure.
-
yes, more info here.... I am a psychic and paranormal investigator and am pleased to say that Judy gave it a 4.

Kenny Baker was inspired by the death of actress Judy Tyler ( Elvis Presley's co-star in the 1957 rock-film '' Jailhouse Rock '' ) 3 days after the film wrapped. An unfinished life, for hers was a star in the rising. He penned this jewel as a tribute to her. She was 23 years old.
This tune and so many more are just F n great, one's that we have never heard but thanks to U Tube and the guy who uploaded the song and others, we can hear at last these lost treasures. A heart-felt thank you to all of you out there who have taken the time to share your great collections. Real Rock 'n' Roll will never die and it's because of you !!
