  • What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul. Judy paid a terrible price for fame.

  • I never thought I would hear Kenny Baker sing a song like this.

    Really cool

  • Incidenty, this was released in 1959 according to the Rockin Country archive.

  • Better than a lot of 'early rock' that hit the top-forty before sixty....for sure.

  • yes, more info here.... I am a psychic and paranormal investigator and am pleased to say that Judy gave it a 4.

  • was it the kenny baker, bill monroe´s fiddler?

  • Kenny Baker was inspired by the death of actress Judy Tyler ( Elvis Presley's co-star in the 1957 rock-film '' Jailhouse Rock '' ) 3 days after the film wrapped. An unfinished life, for hers was a star in the rising. He penned this jewel as a tribute to her. She was 23 years old.
