Blocking a player at the knees isn't illegal, as long as it's from the front. The offensive player came in FRONT of the defender and cut him at the knees.

It's painful and annoying for the defender, but it's not an illegal block. Only if it's from the back or the side, which this wasn't.

whistle to whistle is one thing...diving at a guys knees BEHIND the play is dirty. OLinemen are some of the dirtiest players in the game. Ask Glenn Dorsey.

No problem with that...but you do NOT come along from the side and cut a guy 5 yards behind the play. Show some character and engage him standinng up. The WKU OL came in from the side and dove at a knee...that is not clean football.
