@thejohn95 It's not that she was ignorant of sports, but more the fact that she was half-joking trying to leverage sports loyalties when she clearly wasn't a sports person. By what means can she call out Giuliani for being a Yankees fan when she doesn't follow the game at all? I mean, all politicians pander to be all things to all people, but this was just so overt.

who cares? A lot of people don't know sports

Just cant help feel that this disconnect is why she lost. She didn't know anything.

Let's see 'Crunkadinkdumb,' the comparison is taxation, out of control spending and a ruling-class over a subservient-class. You know, "history repeats itself." Perhaps there will be another American Revolution, only bloodless this time, as you so adeptly reminded me, "It's 2010." Asinine, maybe, but as all people with inadequate intelligence or nonfactual opinions do, they resort to is belittling those who dissent, like an individual managing a warehouse. What counts; Massachusians took action.

she must regret this big time!
so glad she lost

princess11222, you have to understand that the Red Sox are to Boston & Massachusetts like green is to grass. You can't think of one without the other and for someone to claim they know what is important to the people in their state this was a HUGE faux pas.
