Alice and Hatter were reciting poems during their noon set. However, what I didn't get on camera was Hatter telling his poem, and Alice being interrupted by the monorail(happened RIGHT before I started recording).

Enjoy

Oh, and, yes, you hear my username(and a few others) spoken in the video, because I use this name on various other sites, and I was with some friends from a Disney fan-site, I suppose you could call it.

  • What's the "Disney fan site" you were talking about called???

  • Eh, it's a place I don't go to anymore. Trust me, it's not worth your time.

  • the funny thing is, that poem was written by Lewis Carroll and it was in Alice's Adventures In Wonderland :] (she obviously got it from there)

  • I've yet to meet an Alice that didn't know her stuff. The poem was also in the Disney film.

    how doth the little crocodile

improve his shining tail and pour the water of the nile on every golden scale

how cheerfully he seems to grin how neatly he spreads his claws and welcomes little fishes in with gently smiling jaws!

  • you have to be at least 16 to be a face character, and Alice starts at 4'9. No acting experience is required. just so ya'll know. (I'm from VA so I might not be right.)

  • carebear!

  • You have to be at least 18 to play a character I was snow white a year ago.

  • @Poisonettaa How could you ever be too tall to be Alice? She's constantly changing sizes... (:

  • Its Baby Face Alice!!

  • I'd love to be an Alice but 1- I live in England and 2- I'm too tall :'(

Either way it is my goal to meet both Alice and Hatter one day

  • I have to memorize this for school

  • My word, I think you guys are sillier than them. XD

  • @melshane23 you can be 17 and a graduation high school senior and you're able to audition. As far as I know, you can't audition for any certain character

  • Lol, the Hatter was rejected XD

  • Actually, Monkeeperson's are more accurate for Disney World. Disneyland does not hire under 18, but they definitely hire over.

  • @Monkeeperson ok that is cool, Thanks 4 letting me know. :)

  • @melshane23 I belive that Disneyland will hire people from the local High schools, 16 and up.

I'm not sure but I know that Disney World does this.

  • @BroadwayBabe102

    That's the point! :3

  • Alice can be from 18 to early/mid 20's I would think so long as the actress looks young enough.

  • I was just wandering what age can you be to auditon for any character?? Do you have to be 18 or can you be over 18?? cause i'am 25 now.

  • isnt this poem is said by the caterpillar ?

  • You must be at least 18 to audition for anything at Disney, and Alice's friends are usually in their 20's.

  • I've always wondered...

how old do you have to be to audition to be Alice? Like 18?

Well..how old are the actresses that usually portray Alice?

  • Alice recites the poem in the film to the Caterpillar.

  • lol well that's good :] hah working as Alice in Disneyland or Disney World is my main goal in life <3
