2003 Cambridge Credit Open: Semi 2: Koivuniemi vs Hernandez

The date was December 7th, 2003. The PBA contested the championship round finals of this event at Bradley Bowl located in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. History was made previously in this telecast. After Mika threw the perfect game, they interviewed Mika at length and the final frames of his perfect game tossed in the wildcard match had been replayed numerous times during the telecast. Due to this factor, they only aired the last several frames of semi final 2 featuring Mika vs Peter Hernandez.

If you read my opening notes, the cronies at ESPN only aired the last few frames of this semifinal match because they focused their energies on Mika's accomplishments in his previous match. They interviewed him and replayed his final shots numerous times throughout the broadcast. Since the PBA pays for airtime on ESPN, they had to do something to make sure the show was over in 90 minutes from its start time. They opted bowl much of this match off camera.
