This is my second attempt at Card Weaving, only having learned how to weave with this technique two weeks ago. I'm using 15 cards and my own belt design, making a series or repeating Xs and Os. The woven width is 9/16 inches (14mm) across with 60 warp ends; both warp and weft are 2/8 Cotton yarn.

Setting up the loom is the most labour-intensive part, the weaving itself is quite rhythmic, bordering on hypnotic once I get into the pattern. I'd like to experiment further with designs, and yarns to see what I get. Visions of dog leashes and guitar straps have floated through my head during the weaving, so I'll have plenty of inspiration and incentive to weave more.
