its weird how there's no kanji, in any of the conversation.. i could see some of that getting a little confusing... but this looks pretty cool, i've never seen the n64 version..you might of just convinced me though to stop by playasia some time soon..

@byakugan151 I feel weird replying to a 2 year old comment, but actually you can "turn on" the kanji, so to speak, through the first few conversations you have in your game. Somebody in my town asked me if I like 赤 or 青 better, (red or blue) in kanji, with a choice below that said "I cant read it..." (or よめない). If you choose "I cant read it..." it will stay in kana, if you choose red or blue, it switches to kanji automatically. I just thought Id point that out :)

where did you download this? i'm gonna cry if you don't tell me so feel bad etc etc

Well there was one thing I wanted to see in this video that wasn't in it, do you think you could upload a video that shows the town decorations? (stuff like watermills street lamps and stuff like that) I mean the stuff you pay to be built around your town that you can also remove when you want to, because I haven't seen any videos of those yet.

I have to get this.

There is Kanji in this game, but the option for Kanji was turned off completely.

Can you go to a e+ town in the one that was released here? What I'm saying is that you can travel towns with 2 Memory Cards, and I want to go to a e+ town in Animal Crossing.
Yeah I just now ordered a Japanese Wii, this will be my first game. My only question is with the holidays though. Even though they copied a lot from Animal Crossing, did the Japanese Animal Forest Holidays get transferred over also?

@GeoThermalSleuth Yeah, I'm pretty sure some of the holidays were brought back into e+, and there's certainly some new stuff. I'll check out some of the holidays to make sure, and maybe even upload a video of them. Doubutsu no Mori e+ is definitely my favorite game of the whole series. =3

@ShadowJolteon Cool. Yeah I just got the game in and everything. It's awesome.
I love all the little features, like the Resseti Observation Center.

Impressed with the work on Animal Crossing, Nintendo of Japan used it as a basis for the next game in the Doubutsu no Mori series, e+. It's likely they missed a few things, such as the "Nook's Cranny" text when re-localizing it and adding all the new stuff in for e+.
Anyways, to put it short, Doubutsu no Mori e+ was based off of Animal Crossing, which used English-language textures for some signs and items, and NoJ must have forgotten to replace them. =P
