  • Her game was not up...farout any gymnast that can make it to more than 1 olympics is a legend!!!

its not always about who has the hugest difficulty...if someone can do clean routines...and mind you those moves arent by any means safe/easy...then they deserve to be out there.

good on her...shes a champ in my eyes!

  • You know that Boguinskaya could do a double layot, she just never competed it. And because she's kind of tall it is very hard for her

  • Lovely.

  • She got a 9.912 here. She got a 9.962 on vault

  • I really like Bogi and this routine, but to be very frank, she landed extremely low on that first tumbling run. To score a 9.962 with that mistake means the judges were "being kind." That should have been a minimum of .1 in deductions and even that is being generous.

  • @Tammikatu she could do a double double...she was amazing

  • I love this routine, even though she wasn't perfect. Svetlana has poise & class like no other gymnast. Nobody moves like the Belarussian Swan!! And those amazing eyes....So beautiful. Forever a legend!

  • At the time everyone kept saying Shannon Miller should have won the all around but I really feel it should have went to Boguinskaya. Except for that tiny (tiiiiiny) bobble on beam, she had no real errors. The judges screwed her on scores the entire competition.

  • Bogui had did a double double on floor in her early years. this is pretty amazing.

  • @gymnist2009 5th. She scored well on all events except UB which left her out of the medals.

  • Wht place did she get?

  • Boginskaya is always and forever going to have the best stage presets and elegance of any gymnast
