That's chauvinistic bull****, nationality of the artist isn't valid criteria for recognizing or "shitting" on his work, and besides, NAFTA started just in 1994, so it would've had too little time to start its "corrupt power" over the US critics, which, in turn, would have to be mindless. I think you underestimate them and overestimate the importance of nationality.
