full body fatness and punch even when cranked...i'm in loooove! i favor the higher tunings in general, but it's hard to find a drum that doesn't sacrifice tone and body when you dial in that splitting CRACK!!! amazing drum

@reykjavikband Go for a thick shelled Birch , Maple or Oak drum. A wood shell thats thicker will vibrate less projecting more sound out.....which gives volume. I would go for a thick shelled Birch/Oak drum with Die Cast hoops. Or just build your own from a 15 ply Keller Maple shell with Die Cast hoops. Thats killer combo.

@vivaladusst No, this shell is blocks of Wandoo wood from Australia, that are stuck together, rather than plies.

Do u use drum dial for tuning?. could u recommend any dials for snare?, thanks
