This is basically how I got the trophy and thank God for detective mode.

can you grab on the gargoyles because I only used walk, crouch, grab on a gargoyle, and silent takedown and didnt get the trophy.

@lolzombies10 I think the gargoyle gives the trophy away because they have a high chance of seeing you.

just got the trophies. you need to not get notice at all by the hinchman. i mean not once. u must not get cought or seen by the hinchman.

I tired using the gargoyles which makes it easier, I didn't get caught and I didn't get the trophy so I tired not using the gargoyles and it worked. Unless I was seen somehow when using the gargoyles but I wasn't shot at nor did the hinchman say they seen me. Whoever don't got it try not using the gargoyles.

So heres how it goes: you CAN use gargoyles. You CANT use any gadgets (excluding the grappling hook, that is permitted.) You MUST NOT be seen by any gaurds, whatsoever. You MUST ONLY use silent take downs, as in creeping up behind and pressing triangle. Any other questions, leave a comment, and have a good day.

This was one of the first trophies I got on this game and I used the gargoyles. I didn't get seen though.

i think you have to do witchount using any gadgets. that means only stealth takedown no gargoys because of the grappling hook

none of the hench men spotted me though. what i did is go on a gargoyle, glide when there was a alone hench man, silent take down him, rinse and repeat. ocassionally the joker would say something like "batman left you a present" and theyd all go to the body of the hench man I just killed but they never spotted me and I swear the only moves I used where walk, crouch, grapple on a gargoyle, glide (NOT GLIDE KICK, just normal GLIDE) and silent takedown and I didnt get the trophy!!
