A Grand Rapids woman said she spotted a cougar near Rothbury, but the Department of Natural Resources isn't so sure.

  • probably not, due to it being endangered, they will most likely sedate it and relocate it in the wild. Though according to the DNR, they dont exist in michigan, so there is no rule about shooting something that doesnt exist.

  • I dunno man, I feel sorry for the cougar, now people are going to hunt it and shoot it down or cage it..... But it's just living its life to survive.

  • i saw a Cougar in Hudsonville about 3 years ago. trust me, they ARE in west michigan. and another cougar walked 10 feet right in front of our porch once Mears, Michigan too!
