@0bliviousZero The guy who warned him was Guude, who spent an hour trying to swim it and failed many times. He started updating the blocks and could finally make progress, even though it weas slow. 4.5 hours total, so Guude saved him some time and aggravation. Had Etho tried swimming it a few times, though, he would have had a better idea of where the maze goes, and he could have done it all faster.

All the wasted time and rage that etho experienced in this episode I believe he deserves it 100% he should have at least given pain water 1 shot before just going around everything like he did.

Vech's specifically said in one of his spellbound cave dev commentaries that you shouldn't just bypass something like breaking through a maze with an ax. The signs said that IF you manage to screw everything up such as destroying the entire maze, there are alternative ways. And I know that the maps are play however you want, but @ethoslab could have given it a shot first. And what do shutouts have to do with anything? I do not dislike etho, he is probably one of my favorite YouTube commentators

@Cleftin1997 The signs said that there were alternative ways to get into the end point, and he did that. He gives Vechs shoutouts so I don't think Vech's would mind. There are different ways to play this game, if you don't like it, don't watch his videos.

@percypiggle6. He could have at least tried the pain water and if it was too hard he could have cheated. It's disrespectful to the map maker to just bypass everything he did.
