I wish Biden was president. He has limits with compromise. Eventually he will snap and tell the republicans to fuck off and tell the public about their hypocrisy. A quality that Obama unfortunately lacks.

@jallison79 I think trying to reward teachers for results would be tricky indeed. You'd get sycophantic teachers cozying up to dishonest principals and superintendents just for higher financial rewards. Tenure is a way to give good teachers a certain amount of security on a demanding, often thankless job.

They're paid actors, and they'll say things or move on social issues that corps don't mind to keep the democratic base from completely loosing interest & voting 3rd party or primary obama.
