AA has ignored the suffering of its members for far too long.

  • contact who ? hello are you still around ?

  • @jammerman0101 Yes I'm still around, but with a toddler hanging from my leg its not easy to spend as much time on this as I used to lol

  • DId anybody know that Bill W. begged the nurse on his death bed for whiskey? and his digusting voice. You hear at AA meetings, " I"m so grateful, I would not have made it if it wasn't for AA", then they go back out drinking or stinking thinking. AA fucked me up. It's a scam.

  • @Juiced110108 Yep - Bill W - what a saint! LOL

  • Thanks

Being on you tube has really opened my mind to AA.I would rather a drunk died than be changed into an AA member.

  • So I guess that means your going to be around for awhile. amirite?

You need to carry the message. After all isn't that one of the steps of recovery from recovery. ;-) Absolutely jus kidding.

    F**k I love this tune.

  • Thank you!! Brilliant! Yet another tragic AA story. I hate that cult

  • I discovered that my AA "friends" are fair weather friends. Not a word from them when I relapsed, Dropped me like a hot potato. Like they might get relapse cooties from me.

However, my sponsor, does not give up on folks. He is the exception. I know I can count on him. He is the only one I respect anymore. Other members (old timers) are asses who run people off. I agree that perhaps AA will die a natural death.

  • All the comments you received from AA members? How do you know for sure they are not just nuts on YT. This place attracts a lot of them.

I doubt that an AA member would be making such comments as you show in here.

I NEVER experienced any of the things in this video.

Unless AA has been hijacked by a "cult" as you say, I can't believe any of this. Now, the people you dealt with personally. They should b prosecuted if they harassed you. Could there be con artists in AA? SURE. They are everywhere.

  • Are you working for Detox With Dignity dot come?

One isn't sober for 11 years, as you commented elsewhere, and then make videos like this.

    To what ends?

What's your point, unless you are making money from it?

  • Thanks for sharing. I am 3 months sober and I tried AA for 2 months and now I don't want anything to do with it. I ha e professional help I don't need AA's cult like practices or pseudo-psychology.
