Great video. Very informative.
Any tips for identifying a specific carb with the air horn machined off?

On a carb with mechanical secondaries could you disconect the linkage between the primary and secondary and drive the car/truck as a two barrel carb to improve fuel economy?

@MrCarlosCruz1 Not sure how well that would work, you may run into a lean condition under load such as a hill climb. Disciplining your throttle foot to not mash it to the floor too often may be a better coarse of action. That way you will still have passing power. Don't know too many vehicles with mechanical secondaries that fall into the fuel economic category. Thanks for posting.

shouldn't the 4781 have 4 corner idle?
ACHEESEDANISH00 6 months ago
@ACHEESEDANISH00 My understanding is the older 4781's did not have 4 corner idle and the newer ones do. The base plate I purchased is set up for 4 corner idle so I think it would be a easy conversion if I wanted to. It runs just fine on two corner so I'm going to leave it alone. Anyway, nice 72 Firebird. Check mine out if you get a chance.
