Thanks for sharing! Our organization works to reduce rates of unplanned pregnancy so we're very appreciative of the message that knowledge is power and it's always best to be informed, mindful, and communicative about sex!

I did. And this is why it's more important than ever for women to carry their own condoms should they become sexually active and refuse to budge on this point; if the guy won't agree to wear condoms, it's up to the woman to say, "Then I will NOT agree to have sex with you." Then the woman should run and not walk out the door (his place) or show the guy the door (her place), no debate and no wavering. Check out Steve Wilkos's "kiss of Death" episode as well. It's NOT cool to spread HIV at all.

thanks for your reply! This vid may have been low budget but it really sent the message home! I loved it as a person who was diagnosed with gay related immune difycisncy(cant spell) in 81'; I have NO regrets! This year marks my 28th year with Aids,In March 2010 it will be 29...I tell everyone I have AIDS so that I may educate anyone who cross my path, more education less discrimination!!!~Kat

We take many things for granted in our daily lives. Including the chance to be regret free about the decisions we make. Each of the decisions depicted in this PSA is one we can make in our everyday lives to give us the peace of mind afforded with having no regrets. If you think about it, it's saying that being regret free = taking responsibility. Thanks for reminding us how good that can feel.

I think this PSA speaks volumes about the importance of knowing your HIV status and being prepared to truthfully disclose it to all prospective partners. You are in for a shock, though. Philippe Padieu is in prison for up to 45 years because he has full-blown AIDS and he lied about his HIV status because he didn't want to wear condoms with the women he had sex with. Now all his former girlfriends are HIV-positive themselves. Padieu deserves to be buried under the jail for ruining their lives.

Thank you for sharing that story. The Philippe Padieu is a great testament as to why condoms are important. It is equally important to know your partner's status before you have sex. Take care and I'm happy you enjoyed the psa :)
